MarCap President to Speak at Four Healthcare Conferences This Fall Chicago - September 11, 2006 - Peter Myhre, president of MarCap Corporation, will speak at four key surgery center industry events this fall:
MarCap is a leading expert in financing surgery centers and physician-owned hospitals. Myhre will explain the financing options and provide an insider’s view of financing options. He will also provide strategies for selecting the right type of lender and tips on presenting financing requests to financing sources. At the Today’s Surgicenter conference in Las Vegas, September 14-16, Peter Myhre will speak on a panel on “Project and Equipment Financing.” The presentation begins at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, September 15. Jeff Fox joins Myhre on the panel, which will be moderated by Joe Delligatti of Stryker. Myhre will talk about risks in the healthcare market and methods for evaluating investment risk at the McGuire Woods Private Equity Investment in Health Care meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. The presentation begins at 5:20pm on October 4 and is part of a track on financial and investor perspectives. On October 19 at the 5th Annual Business and Legal Issues in Dialysis and Nephrology Symposium (also presented by McGuire Woods LLP) Myhre will discuss “Structuring & Financing Dialysis Facility Transactions.” The panel begins at 1pm at the Chicago Hilton O’Hare. Myhre is part of a panel discussion at Scott Becker’s 13th Annual ASC Conference. The panel will be discussing “Negotiating Financing for Developing and ASC or an Expansion.” The panel discussion begins at 4:00pm on Friday, October 27 at the Chicago Hilton. Other panelists include Bart Walker of McGuire Woods, LLP, W. Michael Karnes of Regent Surgical Health and Ken Seip of Citicapital.
